Creating A Panorama in Photoshop CS3 TWO

I took 5 photos of the Indianapolis Downtown Skyline and placed them in a folder called Downtown Pan 1.  Photos  were taken with the Canon XTi (400D), set on manual ( did have auto focus active) at f9 and 1/200.  It was such a beautiful day and pictures looked so good that I did no correction to them.  I also used the original size to create the panorama which ate up a lot of memory but got it done.   Had to do a little resizing of the panorama photo in order to save for web. (got not enought scratch disk space to preform the operation)  Heck it was only about 350 megs.
Thanks to whoever said to use the camera in manual mode so all pictures were taken with the same settings.

To make the panorama in Photoshop, opened Bridge and selected the folder and then high lighted the 5 files that would make up the panorama shot.  Then went to tools, photoshop and then chose Photomerge.  This brings up the Photomerge menu window and from there chose Interactive Layout and made sure that the Blend images together box was checked.  The pictures that I selected in Bridge were listed in the files box so I clicked OK.  From there, Photoshop took over and merged the photos into one nice panoramic shot.  I then made one layer from the 5 which I then saved as my jpg.  Since the tops and bottoms of the blends were not aligned, I used the clone tool to paint in the missing parts.  That was easy, especially the sky. (did notice I missed a spot in the upper right had corner)  What I have is a picture taken from White River Parkway from the New York Street bridge on the left to the new Lucas Oil Stadium (new home of the Colts) on the right. The structure just to the left of Lucas Oil Stadium is the RCA Dome which has been destroyed.

If you right click on the image above and choose save picture as, you get the much larger picture which shows the nice blending done by Photomerge.

Below is a contact sheet with the 5 pictures used.  If you want to play with these pictures and make the panorama above, click on the contact sheet and download a zip of the 5 pictures.  They are the original dimensions but have been re sampled for the web.
